Trade unions remind the authorities that incomes of Ukrainians are the lowest in Europe

Leaders of the trade-union organizations of Ukraine declare that increase of tariffs for gas for the population will lead to growth of social pressure. As correspondent UNIAN transfers, they have declared it today at press conference in Kiev.So, the head of Confederation of free trade unions of Ukraine Michael Volynets considers that the decision on increase of tariffs for gas, housing-and-municipal services and introduction of a fine for their untimely payment in a present situation is impossible, as level of incomes of citizens in Ukraine the lowest in Europe, and the rate of unemployment grows.

«In this situation trade unions act categorically against these antinational innovations of the government … Increase of tariffs, thus, will lead only to growth of social pressure in a society and uncontrollable inflation», - he has told.

According to the assistant to head of the National forum of trade unions of Ukraine Grigory Kabanchenko, raising tariffs for gas and for housing-and-municipal services, the government doesn't provide salary increase, and the debts for utilities already make today more than 10 billions grivnas.

He also has noticed that trade unions haven't received at a meeting with representatives of the Cabinet of an economic justification of necessity of a raising of tariffs.

In turn, as the head of Federation of trade unions of workers of small and average enterprise of Ukraine Viacheslav Roi remind today «real social dialogue of the power with trade unions is absent».

As informed UNIAN, the Confederation of free trade unions of Ukraine, the National forum of trade unions of Ukraine and Federation of trade unions of Ukraine have submitted to District administrative court of Kiev claims to the National commission of regulation of electric power industry of Ukraine about a recognition illegal and cancellation of the decision of the commission from July, 13th about increase of tariffs for the natural gas which is released for needs of the population.

Let's remind that the national commission of regulation of electric power industry the decisions from July, 13th has increased since August, 1st, 2010 by 50 % cost prices of natural gas for the population and the price of gas for the enterprises of power system providing heating and hot water supply of the population.
