The law of Ukraine "About an establishment of a living wage and the minimum salary" № 1646-VI
This Law is directed on an establishment of the size of a living wage and the minimum salary which will provide appropriate social protection of each citizen of Ukraine in financial and economic crisis.
According to the law of Ukraine "About an establishment of a living wage and the minimum salary" the living wage for those who concerns the basic social and demographic groups of the population makes: since October, the 1st, 2010 it'll be 861 grivna, and since December, the 1st il'll be 875 grivnas.
The size of a living wage proceeding from calculations for a month on one child by age till 6 years, age with 6 till 18 years, for able-bodied and for invalid persons is separately defined.
Also this law establishes for able-bodied population the size of the minimum salary which since 10/1/2010 will make 907 grivnas, and since 12/1/2010 it'll be 922 grivnas.
Living wage definition occurs according to the Law of Ukraine "About a living wage".
